Description Portrait, single subject, full face view, consists of a color photograph encased in opaque white Plexiglas rectangular box. Frosted face of box largely obscures photograph producing an ethereal effect. Back of box has adhered strips of velcro for mounting, taped on label from The Rise of the Fallen exhibit as well as subject's name and barcode, and etched signature of artist, Andre Ferrella.
History This box honors Army Staff Sergeant Charles A. Kiser 37, of Cleveland, Wisconsin; assigned to the 330th Military Police Detachment, Army Reserve, Sheboygan, Wisconsin; killed June 24, 2004 when an explosion occurred near his convoy in Mosul, Iraq.
