Back of box has adhered strips of velcro for mounting, taped on label from The Rise of the Fallen exhibit as well as subject's name and barcode, and etched signature of artist, Andre Ferrella.|
This box honors Army Sergeant Earl D. Werner 38, of Mondovi, Wisconsin; assigned to the 41st Special Troops Battalion, 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oregon Army National Guard, Portland, Oregon; died August 28, 2009 in Baghdad, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his vehicle with an explosively formed penetrator.
