Description Papers and photographs of the Waupaca County Veterans Service Office relating to Spanish-American War and World War I veterans from Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Papers include a roster of the Wisconsin Tuscania Survivors Club, an organization of local men who lived through the sinking of the trans-Atlantic troop transport ship, the Tuscania, by a German submarine in 1918. Also in the collection are a 1960 roster of Spanish-American War survivors from the 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment and a program from a 1960 celebration sponsored by the 32nd Infantry Division National Guard at Camp McCoy. Newspaper clippings center on Waupaca County veterans, from an account of the sinking of the Tuscania to a lengthy article about the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Waupaca County.
