Description Portrait-style photographic copy prints of original tintypes of two Wisconsin Civil War soldiers. Both tintypes are unidentified. The first was a corporal of Co. D, 13th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry based on his uniform. A note on the photo's back further identifies this image as from the Larry M. Strayer Collection. The second is posed in front of a backdrop identifying him as belonging to the 43rd Regiment of Wisconsin Volunteers. The backdrop also has the phrase "Union Forever" on it. He shown wearing a frock coat and forage cap, and holding what is most likely an Enfield rifle.
